The Department of English held a Faculty Exchange Programme with Govt. Aizawl North College on the 4th August 2023. Two faculty members each from both institutions exchanged classes by visiting each other’s campus to deliver lectures to the 5th semester English Core students.
Mrs. Elizabeth L. Hmar, Associate Professor, and Mr. Malsawma, Assistant Professor, of the college English Department, and Mr. R. Zothanmawia and Ms. Lalmuansangi Ralte, both Asst. Professors from the English Department of Aizawl North College, participated in the exchange programme.
The Faculty Exchange programme came about as a result of a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two departments of the institutions on the 27th March 2023 designed to promote cordial relationships through mutual cooperation in the exchange of faculty and students, joint research activities, collaboration in teaching, research and development and consultancy studies etc.
