The college conducted an orientation session for Student Unions, Clubs, and Extension Bodies on the 26th July 2024, 11:00 am, in the College Auditorium. The programme aimed to provide guidance and information regarding the functioning and reporting of these bodies.

Dr. Rebecca Lalhmangaihi presided over the meeting Dr. Zoremsiami, Coordinator of the Research, Innovation, and Extension (RIE) Cell, delivered an introduction and presented  reports. Pu Lalbiakzuala, Principal, gave a welcome address, setting a positive tone for the event. Ms. Zothanpari, Colney, Head Assistant, provided an overview of Office manners and account matters to SUs, Clubs, and Extension Bodies.

The resource person Mr. V.L. Rorelfela, Assistant Professor, Helen Lowry College, presented valuable guidelines for report-making for Clubs and Extension Bodies. He delivered a detailed presentation on the guidelines for report-making, focusing on clarity, accuracy, and adherence to established formats. Ms. A. Hmangaihzuali Poonte, Associate Professor, and senior faculty member, also gave a short talk highlighting issues relevant for the participants. A total of 102 students (48 male and 54 female) and seven faculty members participated in the programme.
