The first ever college Art Club Competition was held between the 4th - 11th December. The club was only formed in October 2019 so there has been no time for much activities. Due to the pandemic obviously, it was held online and was open only to present students of the college. The theme of the competition was "Hope," with entries in any medium accepted. Three judges, all artists of repute in Aizawl, with one being a 2012 alumnus of the college, were invited to assess the entries. While there were only a disappointing seven entries in all, they showed the artistic talent and skill of the students.
David Lalremruata, 5th semester, Political Science Core, placed first with his acrylic on canvas work titled "Light of Hope," while Lalrinmawii, 3rd sem. Commerce, and Zomuansangi, 1st semester Hindi Core, placed second and third with their water colour and acrylic works respectively. Ms. A. Hmangaihzuali Poonte, Dept. of English, sponsored the competition.
