The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), formerly known as the DOEACC Society, is a society that offers information technology training at different levels.
The GAC - NIELIT centre was established in February 2013. The office/classroom is situated on the first floor of the Commerce Block, and houses thirty (30) computer sets. The following courses are offered:
For seat allotment, first priority is given to students of the college and class timings are as per their free periods. Admissions are done in January and July. There are two instructors on constant duty at the centre. Besides present college students, many take admission after their graduation when they have more free time available to them. The centre has helped several students gain some kind of IT education which is so crucial in today's job market.
