The college is equipped with a language lab which was installed in September 2016. Funded by RUSA, it was completed at the cost of around 5 lakhs. Housed in a small room sandwiched between the Conference Hall and Classroom #604, it has twenty computer sets and furniture. The lab uses Sanako software.
The language lab had long been recommended by visiting NAAC Peer teams for language teaching, especially of English for the many students brought up in Mizo medium schools and experiencing difficulties with the English medium of instruction at the college level.
In October 2017, Hindi software was installed, enabling the Hindi dept to hold classes in Hindi. Language lab classes are conducted in both Hindi and English.
