A One Day Awareness Program on Cyber Security and Emerging Technologies was held at the college on the 11th April 2022. Conducted by NIELT Mizoram in collaboration with the Curricular Aspects Cell IQAC-GAC, it was attended by students of the 6th semester. The students were divided into two groups and the sessions held simultaneously in Rooms 305 and 605.
Group I assembled in Room 305 and the Resource Persons were Mr. Lalrempuia Sailo, Senior Technical Officer, and Mr. Lalsiamkima, faculty. The Resource Persons in Room 605 were Mr. R. Dengchhunga, Senior Technical Officer, and Mr. R. Lalhruaikima, faculty. They spoke on the necessity for greater public consciousness of the need for cyber security in these times of ever-increasing internet use, as well as helpful information on emerging internet technologies.
There were 163 student participants, as well as several faculty members of the CAC who attended the sessions. Registration was done by the students and refreshments were served. The sessions ended with votes of thanks from members of the CAC.
