An Awareness Programme on IGNOU Certificate Courses was conducted at 3 pm on the 3rd Feb. 2023 at the Conference Hall, Mualpui Campus.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Lalsangzuala Khiangte, Associate Professor, Political Science & Asst. Coordinator, IGNOU SC-1901. The Resource Person was Dr. Rebecca Lalhmangaihi, HOD, Dept.of Hindi, and Coordinator of the IGNOU Study Centre-1901 (Govt. Aizawl College). About forty 6th semester students attended the programme.
She informed the assembled students that IGNOU is the world's largest university with the biggest number of students, offering many and varied programmes from Master's and Bachelor's Degrees, certificates, diplomas, PG diplomas, etc. She spoke about the duration of the courses, admission fees, availability of online courses and that all study materials are provided free of cost. She strongly advised the students to enroll for certificate and diploma courses under IGNOU simultaneously with their college studies.
