The GAC Sporting Club, along with the faculty-in-charge of basketball, organised a program under the banner “Balancing Academics with Sports: An Interaction with Lalhnehpuia Chhakchhuak, North Park University, Chicago” for sports students aspiring to make it to the College basketball team. The hour-long interactive session was held at the Conference Hall, Sikulpuikawn Campus, on the 8th August, 2023 (Monday) from 2.30 pm.
Mr. Lalhnehpuia Chhakchhuak, with a maturity belying his youth, articulated insightful perspective on the importance of balancing academics with sports. He shared his own lived experiences which captivated and motivated the audience to succeed in their own endeavours.
The programme was attended by 39 students and 9 faculty members.
