The Entrepreneurship Knowledge Cell arranged for 32 students of B.Com 6th Semester to attend the Two-Day National Workshop on Starting Startups organised by the Mizoram University Incubation Centre, in partnership with the Department of Commerce, Mizoram University and the Mizoram Startup Mission, Planning and Programme Implementation Department, Government of Mizoram during February 8-9, 2024. The event took place at the Vaivakawn Multipurpose Auditorium and at the Aijal Club McCabe Hall. The main speaker for the workshop was Dr. Pramod Kumar Joshi, Chief Mentor of the GLA University Entrepreneurship Cell, Uttar Pradesh. One faculty member accompanied the students. During the second day of the workshop, the students also attended the Financial Literacy Bootcamp, a part of Startup India's ASCEND initiative, to learn about the financial acumen needed for startups and aspiring entrepreneurs. They received personalized mentorship sessions by experts at the end of the programme.
