The college hosted the 44th edition of the Mizoram College Teachers' Association annual general conference on the 14th December at Mualpui campus. First formed in 1979, the MCTA conducts a general conference at the end of every calendar year which is hosted by a member college.
The Minister of Higher & Technical Education, Dr. Vanlalthlana, was Chief Guest at the event. He spoke of a number of initiatives that the recently-elected and newly-formed government plans to put into place for the upliftment of higher education in the state. The programme comprised of three sessions with the last being elections for the posts of office bearers of the association. The newly elected office bearers are -
