On Thursday the 15th July 2021, in a historic first for the college, a music video of what may be called the college song was released by the Principal and members of the Students' Union (previous and present batches) at the college conference hall.
The song was written by C. Malsawmtluanga, a 2018 graduate and former Students' Union leader, and expresses sentiments of loyalty and allegiance, as well as his hope that the college will continue to remember him even as it grows and flourishes. The Students' Union batch of 2019 - 2020 had decided to make a music video of the song and began shooting on the 13th March 2020 at the MSU (football) Cup final which featured the college football team versus Hrangbana College. The original plan had been to include scenes of the college Cultural Day intended to be held on the 17th March, footage from the Mizoram University Sports scheduled towards the end of the same month, the official release of the sports jerseys, as well as activities from various college clubs. The Covid-19 situation, however, prevented all of that as the Mizoram government closed down all educational institutions from the 17th March, which was subsequently followed by a state and national lockdown.
Shooting resumed only towards the end of the year as lockdown was gradually partially lifted. A few additional scenes were added as college reopened on the 2nd March 2021 with some classes shifting down to the new campus at Mualpui. Eventually it turned out that while the first scenes had been shot on the 13th March 2020, the last scenes were shot on the 24th March 2021. The total expenditure totaled Rs. 40,000/-, of which Rs. 10,000 was donated for the project by the Aizawl College Teachers' Association and the rest came from the SU Fund.
The video was uploaded on the college YouTube channel on the evening of the day of its release, that is, the 15th July 2021, and has amassed a significant viewing count.
