On the 1st July 2022, the college officially shifted to its new campus at Mualpui Salem Veng. The offices of the college Principal and establishment staff, along with the library, classrooms etc are now at the new campus. The move comes several decades after the college had first established itself at Sikulpuikawn in 1975.
The campus at Sikulpuikawn, however, is being retained to accommodate the 1st semester students who are about 700 in number, as well as the MA classes in Education. Mizoram University had granted the Education Department permission to conduct Post Graduate studies in 2020.
The new campus at Mualpui houses the Commerce block and the Administrative building which is connected to the Academic building. Classrooms are in the Academic building while offices, faculty rooms and the library are in the Administrative side.
Since the new campus is a considerable distance away from the main Aizawl area, the college has to hire four extra buses, besides the college bus, to ferry students from the pick-up point at Vanapa Hall to the college grounds. With the great increase in the number of students due to the Covid pandemic in 2020, the student enrolment is again reaching the highs of the early 80s, when it was a night college, with over 2000 students currently enrolled for the present academic session.
