The GAC YAC today organised a special programme to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the club's foundation. Formed on the 7th August 1982, the GAC YAC was the first ever Youth Adventure Club in Mizoram.
At the celebration of the club's Ruby Jubilee at the Sikulpuikawn campus on the 13th August 2022, Pu F. Lalchungnunga, batch of 1977, and founder of the GAC YAC, and Pu Moses Lalthanpuia, Sports & Youth Services State Adventure Organiser and Leader of the GAC YAC in 2006-2007, were presented citations in recognition of their services. Moses had designed the club logo and t-shirt.
The programme today was attended by the faculty-in-charge Ms. Elizabeth L. Hmar, former office bearers, and OBs and well-wishers from other colleges.
