As of Monday, the 8th March 2021, the new semester session began with classes at both the old and new campuses. Due to the Govt. of Mizoram's cautious approach to the reopening of higher educational institutions, the 2nd and 6th semesters will attend classes on alternate days, and have online classes on the off days -
6th sem : Offline classes - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Online - Tuesdays and Thursdays.
2nd sem : Offline - Tuesday and Thursdays. Online - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
For the 4th sem. Arts and all the Commerce students however, offline classes are conducted every day as the classrooms at Mualpui are relatively large and capable of safely accommodating the 500 or so students.
On Wednesday the 10th, a Cleanliness Day was observed at the Mualpui campus. Besides the classrooms and corridors, the frontage of the campus buildings was cleared of leftover building materials etc. The following day, a corresponding Cleanliness Campaign was held in the old campus at Sikulpuikawn. At both these cleanliness programmes, the classrooms, corridors, steps, etc were fumigated in keeping with government advice.
