The Department of Economics arranged a Parent-Teachers Meeting for 2nd Semester Economics Core students on the 13th April 2022 to discuss students’ academic performance especially for slow learners and to devise ways to enrich the learning experience and welfare of the students.
A cordial interactive session was created; parents checked the attendance records and academic performance of their wards; some parents raised the issue of low internet connectivity in their area and damaged mobile phones due to which the students faced difficulties in attending online classes. Parents were encouraged to check their child’s performance regularly and communicate with the teachers to know the progress of their wards.
The meeting ended with the conclusion that the progress and development of the students depend on the collective efforts of teachers, students and parents.
