On the 21st September 2023, students of the 5th Semester, Department of Education, conducted an Educational Survey of Elementary Schools around Salem and Mualpui locality.
For this study, a total number of 77 students were equally divided into six (6) groups. Each group was assigned one school for survey. All the groups had interaction with the Principal, staff and students of the different schools. The students gathered data pertaining to the existing physical and academic conditions of the various schools. The purpose of the study was to enhance and enrich the knowledge of the students in their course of study.
The schools selected for undertaking the survey were -
1. Govt. Primary School, Salem
2. Govt. Middle School, Salem
3. Salem Presbyterian English School
4. Greenhill Public School
5. Mt. Horeb English School
6. 3rd Bn. MAP English Medium School, Mualpui
