A special felicitation programme for graduates of the recent Mizoram University exams was organised by the Department of English on the 3rd August 2022. All 29 English Core candidates had cleared their exams and graduated with a 100% pass percentage. Three students were rank holders, securing the 3rd, 6th and 10th positions. While the results had been announced on the 22nd June, there was some delay in organising the programme due to the college moving to the new campus.
The brief function was held in the Conference Hall at Mualpui campus and was attended by the 5th semester English Core students. Both the Principal Ms. Hmingpuii Poonte, and the Higher & Technical Education Joint Director, Dr. Lalthansangi Fanai, who were both faculty members of the department till March this year, attended the programme.
