The Department of Economics organised a ‘Felicitation Programme for Rank Holders in Mizoram University Under-Graduate Examinations 2023’ on the 4th August 2023. The programme was chaired by Dr. Andrew Lalsangzela Sailo, Associate Professor, Economics, who welcomed all participants and introduced to the audience the three Rank Holders: Jeremy Malsawmtluanga, 6th Rank, Albert Laldinliana, 7th Rank, and Samuel Vanlalruatsaka, 8th Rank.
This was followed by a short speech from the Principal, Mr. Lalbiakzuala, who congratulated and expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts of faculty and students on achieving academic excellence which further glorified the institution. He outlined a brief history and main objectives of the college and encouraged all the students to put more effort in their studies and to refrain from any distractions.
To acknowledge and honour the students for their outstanding academic performance, the Principal presented citations along with cash awards to the three rank holders.
The session was attended by 84 students and 6 faculty members.
