A Fire Awareness Campaign was organised by the Save Environment Association (SENVA), Aizawl Forest Division & NSS, Government Aizawl College on March 15, 2024 at the Conference Hall, Mualpui Campus. Lalbiakzuala, Principal gave the introductory speech which was followed by the speech delivered by the resource person Pu Biakthianghlima, President of SENVA, Mizoram. The resource person spoke about the dire need to change our traditional form of cultivation in order to prevent forest fires. Another important point he made was that it is not only the duty of men but also women to give aid where needed when a fire breaks out. The campaign was attended by the 6th Semester students of Commerce, Political Science and Sociology departments.
