GAC Wins Second Prize at Independence Day Inter-College Women’s Football Tournament 2024

Government Aizawl College won the Second Prize at the Women & Child Development Independence Day Inter-College Women’s Football Tournament 2024 held during August 8 – 15, 2024. The final match was held on August 15, 2024 (3:30 PM) at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Mualpui where the College team lost to the team from Govt. Hrangbana College with a 0-2 score. The Second Prize carried a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 and a trophy. GAC player Zonuntluangi, 1^st Semester, Department of History won the Best Player of the Tournament award carrying a cash prize of Rs. 1,000 and a trophy.
