Hepatitis-B Awareness Campaign: Medical Sub-Committee

An awareness campaign under the banner “Hepatitis-B Awareness and HBsAg Test + Vaccination Programme” was conducted by the college Medical Sub-Committee in collaboration with Biological E Limited, Bangalore, on the 2^nd August 2023 at the Conference Hall, Mualpui Campus. Dr Akil Ahmed, Chief Co-ordinator of the ‘project’ conveyed with much needed enthusiasm the importance of vaccination and how the timeless saying “Prevention is better than cure” rings true when it comes to the prevention of Hepatitis-B.

 A total of 172 students (History 63, Economics 70 and Education 39)  and four faculty members of the Medical Sub-Committee attended the programme.
