Hindi Diwas was observed on the 14.9.2023 by the Hindi department faculty members, with the 1st semester and 5th semester Hindi Core students at the Sikulpuikawn campus. The day is celebrated to commemorate the declaration of Hindi as the official language of India on the 14th September 1949.
A short speech was given by Dr. Kathy Rohlupuii, Associate Professor, regarding the impact and importance of the Hindi language. The programme concluded with a joint singing of the national anthem.
