The college has been equipped with a language lab since
September 2016. Funded by RUSA, it was completed at the cost of around 5 lakhs.
Housed in a small room sandwiched
between the Conference Hall and Classroom #604, it has twenty computer sets and
furniture. The lab uses Sanako software.
The language lab has long been recommended by visiting NAAC Peer
teams for language teaching, especially of English for the many students
brought up in Mizo medium schools and experiencing difficulties with the
English medium of instruction at the college level.
In October 2017, Hindi software was installed, enabling the
Hindi dept to hold classes in Hindi. After the recent university exams in May,
language lab classes were conducted in both Hindi and English for the graduating
class.
