The Legal Aid Clinic was inaugurated on the 27th March 2018.  A small room is allotted to the clinic on the 5th floor of the college building. It is open to all students, teaching faculty and office staff at Govt. Aizawl College free of cost. Consultations are available twice a week, that is, on Mondays and Thursdays. The legal aide at present is Mr. V.L. Nghata Keivom, Advocate, from the Mizoram Bar Association.
