An inaugural function of the Legal Aid Clinic at Govt. Aizawl College was held on March 27th 2018 at the college Conference Hall. It was conducted by Dr. Lalthansangi. The Chief Guest was Ms. R. Lalduhawmi, MJS, Sr. Civil Judge cum Secretary, Aizawl District Legal Services Authority. She was supported by Ms. Mimi H. Rosiamliani, Co-Ordinator, Mr. V.L. Nghata Keivom, Ms. K. Lalhriatpuii, Mr. Reuben Lalrinsanga, Ms. Zothansangi Hmar and Ms. Vanlalruati.

The Legal Aid Clinic will be held twice a week but may be extended to more days as demanded by the issues and situations. It will be stationed on the 5th floor of the college building. It will be open to all students, teaching faculty and office staff at Govt. Aizawl College free of cost.
