On September the 21st, 2023, mentors and mentees in the PG classes met for an introductory mentoring session. Each teacher mentor has 9 to 10 student mentees from the First and Third semesters.
The session began at 1:00 pm, ie. after forenoon classes were over. The sessions were conducted in separate rooms to maintain confidentiality and privacy. All matters concerning students’ welfare were topics of discussion. Absentees will be given mentoring on future dates.
A Mentoring Book, somewhat similar to that used by the undergraduate students, was prepared at the cost of Rs.30/- per student. After every session, matters discussed between the mentor and mentee will be entered in the mentoring book and signed by both mentor and mentee.
