On the evening of the 14th October 2021, the Department of Mizo formally released their new publication titled "Rothûl" over a zoom meeting. The programme was hosted by Pi Lalremveli Chenkual, Associate Professor.
Pu Rochamliana, Assistant Professor, gave a preview of the book which is a compilation of the papers presented at the 5 Day National Webinar on "A Critical Study on Drama from UG & PG (Mizo Courses) under MZU & ICFAI University" organised between the 8th - 12th December 2020 by the Dept. of Mizo and the Govt. Aizawl College Literature Club. It contains 33 papers written by academicians - faculty members of the Mizo dept. all over the state as well as research scholars. The publication was edited by Professor C. Vanlalhruaia, Head of the Mizo dept., Daniel Laldampuia and Lalnunpuia, both from the Mizo dept. faculty. It has an ISBN 978-81-951732-5-9.
The college Principal, Professor C. Sangluaii, formally released the book, calling it a veritable treasure for all students of drama and literature. The Head of Dept., Professor C. Vanlalhruaia, gave a brief speech and Pi Lalchhandami, Associate Professor, brought an end to the proceedings with a vote of thanks. Over a hundred participants, including students and faculty members, were in attendance.
