The picturesque village of Hmuifang is now officially the Adopted Village of Govt. Aizawl College, and its two schools, namely the Govt. Primary School and Neihlaia Memorial Middle School, our Adopted Schools.

Memorandums of Understanding were signed on the 5th November 2019, with representatives of the Hmuifang Village Council and the two schools, at the Village Council House. The agreement will cover a period of one and a half years, ie from November 2019 to June 2021.

Water filters were presented to the schools while the VC, YMA and MUP were presented silpaulin sheets. The GAC NSS also presented the YMA Rs. 20000/- in cash for building public urinals.

A number of faculty members and 30 students attended the event.
