Mrs. Lalchhandami, Associate Professor, Dept. of Mizo, retired on superannuation pension with effect from the 30th September 2023, and was given a farewell on the 29th by the College Employees' Welfare Association.
Pi CD matriculated from St. Paul's HS, graduated from Pachhunga University College with Political Science Honours, and did her MA in Political Science at NEHU Shillong. She then joined Zirtiri Women's College in 1984 as a lecturer in the Mizo dept. In 2000, she was transferred to Govt. Aizawl College where she remained till her retirement.
Dedicated and sincere in her work, her calm and sensible presence will be greatly missed. We wish her continued good health and a happy retired life with her husband, three children and four grandchildren at Kulikawn.
