As per the academic calendar of the college, the Department of Economics organized a national seminar on “Framework of State Budget in the Light of Mizoram Budget 2023-24” on the 23rd February 2023 at the college Conference Hall, Mualpui Campus. Dr. James LT Thanga, Associate Professor, Dept of Economics, Mizoram University, was the resource person for this seminar. He enlightened the participants on the framework of the state budget by discussing the terms, concepts, classification, impact, and importance of budget in the light of Mizoram Budget 2023-24.
The seminar was chaired by Dr. Andrew Lalsangzela Sailo, and Dr. Lalfakawmi proposed a vote of thanks. Students of the 4th and 6th Semester (Economics Core), faculty members and interested persons attended this seminar.
