A National Seminar on Social Change and Development: Issues and Dynamics was organized by the Research, Innovations and Extension Cell, IQAC, Government Aizawl College, on the 11th and 12th February 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the seminar was conducted via Zoom.

The seminar was exclusively organised for researchers, therefore only seventeen papers were accepted from different institutions across India for more substantial and productive academic discussions and interactions.

The Cell Chairman, Prof. Vanlalringa Bawitlung, chaired the programme, and the college Principal, Prof. C. Sangluaii, made a welcome address. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Hoineilhing Sitlhou, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, University of Hyderabad.

The technical sessions were moderated by Dr. James L.T. Thanga, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Mizoram University, Dr. Rohmingmawii, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Pachhunga University College, and Dr. B. Lalzarliana, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Mizoram University.

Paper presenters were assigned to the three different technical sessions. The seminar witnessed new ideas and perspectives raised by the participants, incorporating new academic insights.
