A National Seminar on “Understanding Ethics, Sexuality & Contemporary Issues” was organized by the Department of Education and the Institutional Values and Best Practices Cell GAC-IQAC, at the College Conference Hall, Mualpui Campus on the 16th February 2023.
It was chaired by Mrs. Vanlalsawmi, Associate Professor, Education. The programme was divided into four sessions each taken up by one Resource Person and their presentations.. They were
Mr. Lalrinzuala Nghaka, Ministry Associate (Speaker and Trainer), RTB|APAC. PhD Scholar, Mizoram University: "Ethics in Public Life"
Dr. Balajied Nongrum, Lead Consultant (Apologetics and Research), RTB|APAC: "The Matrix of Human Sexuality"
Rev. Dr. Ramengliana, General Secretary, NEICC: "An Overview of New Atheism"
Mrs. Lalhmingmawii, Asst. Prof. Department of Sociology, Pachhunga University College: "Queering Heteronormativity"
Dr. Vanlalngaii, Associate Professor, Education, gave a vote of thanks to bring proceedings to a close. The seminar was attended by 90 students and 15 faculty members, including some from Pachhunga University College.
