On the occasion of the 70th Independence Day celebration held at AR Ground, Aizawl, Mizoram on 15th August 2016, GAC NCC unit participated in the parade and won third place in the Unarmed Contingent category. 34 cadets participated in the event. The prize consisted of Rs. 1500/-and certificates.
