The college has very recently been equipped with a language lab funded by RUSA. Housed in a small room sandwiched between the Conference Hall and Classroom #604, it has twenty brand new computer sets and furniture. The language lab has long been recommended by visiting NAAC Peer teams for language teaching, especially of English for the many students brought up in Mizo medium schools and experiencing difficulties with the English medium of instruction at the college level.

The lab uses Sanako software. However, company technicians have been able to spare just one brief technical training session with the English department faculty due to the fact that they are installing labs and software simultaneously in various colleges across Aizawl, as well as in other towns and cities within the state. A much more comprehensive and intensive training course is to be carried out early in November.  Once the faculty is more fully trained, the lab is hoped to be well utilised for English language teaching in the college.
