In supersession of the earlier notification dated 14.7.2020 which had effectively cancelled the 2nd and 4th examinations, the MZU has issued a new notification with new regulations as below:
Exams will not be conducted by Mizoram University for 2nd and 4th semester (Regular) students. They will be promoted to the next semester i.e. 3rd and 5th, and their performance will be computed on the basis of -
(a) 50% of their performance in the previous semester
(b) 25% internal assessment
(c) 25% from examinations conducted by the college.
All colleges to conduct exams with 25% weightage of marks, and submit the marks to the Examinations Dept. latest by the 30th November.
As university exams will not be conducted, exam fees for the 2nd and 4th semesters will not be collected, but an Examination Processing Fee and Marksheet fee of Rs. 510/- (300 + 210) per student is to be collected and remitted on or before the 30th October 2020.
