November 11, 2023 was celebrated as Education Day in commemoration of the 135th Birth Anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The Department of Education organized "Workshop on the Importance of Education” in honour of this event on November 14, 2023 at Sikulpuikawn campus. The Workshop had sub-themes such as Personality Development, Economic Growth, Moral Development and Skill Development.
All the students of MA Education were divided into four groups. Each group picked a topic out of the sub-themes on the spot and after a group discussion, one member of each group delivered a presentation on their respective themes. Four teachers and 28 MA Education students participated in the event.
