Joining the rest of the country in witnessing the India Semi-conductor Mission live streaming programme, Govt. Aizawl College, on the 13th March, 2024, tuned in to the official YouTube channel of Hon’ble Prime Minister (@NarendraModi) from all the departmental classrooms fitted with smart boards. In this event entitled “India’s Techade: Chips for Viksit Bharat” , the Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid foundation stones of three semi-conductor facilities across India i.e, Dholera, and OSAT facility in Gujarat, and Morigaon, Assam. A total of 300 students of the institution from all the departments witnessed this historic event.
In compliance with the additional request of Ministry of Education for the same, a lecture focusing on the India Semiconductor Mission and its aspiration was also held at the Department of English at 9:30am attended by their students, prior to witnessing the livestream.
