The Odd-semester University Exams 2021 began yesterday, the 13th January 2021, with General English I for 1st semester students.  Mizoram University has developed a special software for the exams whereby candidates must log in using a password to gain access to the exam questions. The question format is entirely in multiple choice questions (MCQ). Students will be required to answer 75 of these within a period of two hours.

As required by the MZU Exam Department, a Technical Helpdesk has been set up consisting of the following faculty members - Dr. Lalhmangaihi Chhakchhuak, Ms. Lalnunmawii, Mr. Zomuansanga Pachuau and Mr. V.L Rorelfela. Their contact numbers have been provided to the candidates and they will provide assistance in all technical-related matters throughout the exams. As with all other exams, invigilators are on standby for any necessary action.

Since the mode of the exams is entirely dependent on consistently strong internet connectivity, several students reported problems yesterday mostly caused by poor net signal especially in the rural areas. The exams will continue uptill the 8th February.
