The Department of Political Science successfully organized a One Day State Level Seminar on the 2023 Mizoram Legislative Assembly Elections on the 28th November 2023 at the college Conference Hall.
Politicians, journalists, teachers and scholars of ICFAI University, Mizoram University and various colleges in Mizoram deliberated on the performance of different parties in the recently-conducted Mizoram Legislative Assembly elections. Presentations on other election-related issues including Voter turnout, Religiosity, Women and Youth participation, the impact of Information Technology and the role of Civil Societies etc were also given at the event which was attended by 48 registered participants.
