An online training session for students on ‘How to submit Answer Papers for Online Examination’ was organised on the 29th March 2022 at 8 pm by the Teaching, Learning and Evaluation Cell, IQAC of Government Aizawl College. The program was hosted by Dr. Mary L. Renthlei, Associate Professor. Dept of Education and member of the Cell.
Mr. Lalmalsawma Khiangte, Assistant Professor. Dept of Pol. Science was the Resource Person. He introduced details of the pattern of question papers and mark distribution for internals as well as University examination, and further highlighted tips for answers to the different patterns of questions, stressing on the importance of page numbering and proper maintenance of pages on the answer scripts. He further explained the workings and features of the College Data Management System and explained the mode of submission of papers in the College Management System. He also referred to the video tutorials on preparing PDF of answer scripts by Mr. Rorelfela, Assistant Professor.
The resource person then invited Mr. Jacob Malsawma, technician of the College Data Management System to explain the features and technical details for submission of papers to the Management System. Mr. Malsawma demonstrated tutorial clips presenting detailed procedures of accessing the web and mode of administering the system. He also demonstrated the features and procedures of online examination updated on the latest version of the system on Android Mobile App.
The program was conducted over Zoom and livestreamed on the college official YouTube Channel. 530 students participated and a good number of students and faculty joined the livestream on YouTube.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks from the host.
