At 2:30 PM on January 30, 2024, the Entrepreneurship Knowledge Cell hosted an outreach programme for a Mizoram state-wide boot-camp to be organised during April 2024 by the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), an initiative by the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs (ECA) that supports women entrepreneurs across the world.

Mr. Suman Mukhopadhyay, Director and Dr. Arina Bardhan, Manager-Projects, Contact Base, an implementation partner of US State Department’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs spoke about the initiative called “Academy of Women Entrepreneurs 4.0 (AWE 4)” among 68 students of B.Com (4th semester) along with 5 faculty members.

The AWE 4.0 Program has been initiated in Mizoram and Tripura since October 2023, with Contact Base (www.banglanatak.com: a social enterprise from West Bengal) as the implementation partner. This is a year-long program curated for women entrepreneurs in Mizoram and Tripura to grow their business through knowledge sharing, network building and mentor connect.
