A Sensitization Workshop on RUSA was held at the college Conference Hall on the 23rd March 2016. The chief guest was Mr. R. Lalrosanga, Director of Higher & Technical Education. He gave a brief speech challenging college teachers to a deeper level of commitment, and added an academic audit would soon be taken.
The Resource Person was Joint Director, Dr. Zarzoliana, who was the last minute replacement for Addl. Director Dr. K.L. Pradhan who had to attend an urgent meeting in Bengaluru. He spoke about the policy and objectives of RUSA (National Higher Education Mission), its vision and mission, and achievements and enterprises undertaken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to improve and enhance higher education within the country. He stressed on the efforts required of the state government and colleges to bring about quality improvement for accomplishment of these goals.
The workshop was attended by the college teaching faculty, as well as Students' Union leaders and Class Representatives.
