A Safer Internet Day Awareness Campaign was organised by the Institutional Values & Best Practices Cell on the 7th February 2023 at 3 pm in the GAC Conference Hall.
Safer Internet Day started as an initiative of the EU SafeBorders project in 2004 and is now celebrated in approximately 180 countries and territories worldwide. From cyberbullying to social networking to digital identity, each year Safer Internet Day aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns.
Experts from the Cyber Crime Police Station, Aizawl, were invited to talk about basic Cyber Safety, a much-needed topic for the youth of today. All 4th semester Arts and Commerce students attended the campaign.
