A seminar on "Gender Sensitization in Contemporary Mizo Society" was organised today, the 1st November 2019, by the Dept. of History in collaboration with the Equal Opportunity Cell, RUSA. Pu Biaktluanga, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Mizoram, was the chief guest.
Fourteen papers from scholars from Mizoram University, Mizoram Law College, J. Buana College, Pachhunga University College, the Mizoram Police and Govt. Aizawl College were presented. A lively interaction with the audience, mostly comprising of History Core students followed.
