A Sensitization Programme on ND & PS was held on the 10th August 2023 at the college Conference Hall at Mualpui Campus, organized in collaboration between the Mizoram State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) and the college Students' Support & Progression Cell. Prof. C. Vanlalhruaia, Head, Mizo Department, chaired the program, while the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Michael Zothankhuma, Judge of Gauhati High Court and Executive Chairman of the MSLSA, was the Chief Guest.
Eighty two 5th Semester students from the Departments of Commerce, Education and History attended the programme, along with 6 faculty members. Eleven members from the MSLSA were also in attendance throughout the duration of the programme.
After registration of the participating students was conducted by the MSLSA, the program began at 1:30 pm with a welcome speech by Vice Principal Dr. Lalsangzuala Khiangte. This was followed by a special address from the Chief Guest before the Resource Person Dr. Chawnglungmuana took the platform to inform and educate the participating students on the dangers of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances. The programme ended with a vote of thanks from Mr. R. Vanlalena, MJS Member Secretary of MSLSA.
