On the 20th February 2023, the GAC-YAC conducted a social work session in pursuance of the MOU signed between the college and Trinity Hospital last year. A total number of twelve (12) members, including five Office Bearers, participated in the work. The windows of Trinity Hospital were cleaned via ropes on which the YAC members rappelled down the glass-fronted building. The hospital served lunch to the workers who finished their service by 5 pm.
Under the terms of the agreement signed in September 2022, the hospital will conduct a free clinic for GAC students at least twice a year, provide basic First Aid training, and give a 10% concession in hospital stay for all GAC students and staff. In return, the college will provide volunteer blood donors in case of emergency (depending on availability of donors) and will also conduct social work for the hospital at least once a year.
