Twenty-six students from Fifth Semester, Department of Sociology attended the Training of Peer Educators Programme which was organised by Red Ribbon Club, Mizoram on September 9, 2023. The training was held at the Chanmari YMA Hall, Aizawl and it started from 9:30 am till 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The programme consisted of speeches from various intellectuals who sensitised the students on the dangers and risks associated with HIV. The trainees were also taught about the roles of peer educators in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS among the youth. All the trainees were given certificates at the end of the training.
