A Parents-Teachers meeting was conducted by the Department of Sociology on the 28th October 2021 at 8:00 pm. The meeting was held between parents of the V Semester students’ and the department faculty. Due to the pandemic, the meeting was organised on the Zoom platform. Students’ attendance and internal marks were shared and discussed with the parents. The meeting was organised to create a better communication and relationship between parents and teachers, and to seek support of the parents in keeping track of the academic record of their children specially in this precarious time of COVID-19. Parents were notified of the upcoming end-semester examination and requested to see that students have a peaceful environment for learning and to ensure internet connection stability during the exams.

The meeting noted a successful interaction between parents and teachers, and feedback from the parents was well received by the department faculty.
