On the 18th September 2023, the Dept. of History organized a Special Invited Lecture on 'Interpreting Mizo History' at the college Conference Hall, Mualpui campus. The Speaker was Mr. Joseph Lalzarliana, Assistant Professor, History & Ethnography Dept, Mizoram University. He is also an alumnus of the college, having graduated with History Honours in 1998.
The lecture was attended by 71 students from the Vth Semester, History Dept., along with three faculty members.
