An online training session for students on the new ‘College Data Management System’ was organized on the 12th March 2022 at 2:00 pm by the Teaching, Learning and Evaluation Cell GAC-IQAC. The program was hosted by Mr. Zomuansanga, Asst. Professor, and member of the TL&E Cell.
Mr. Lalchhandama Ralte, CEO of Hereus, the software firm which had recently built and developed the college data management system, was the Resource Person. He informed the gathering about the development of the software which is meant meant to cater to the needs of students, faculty members and non-teaching staff by automating the daily operations of the institution. He further highlighted the fact that the college data management system is one such advanced technology that is integrated with all necessary tools to help students and teachers. He explained the workings of the software which can be used to manage a variety of features including Students’ Registration and Academic Data, Admissions, Assignments and Examinations, Students’ Attendance Records, Leave Applications, Student Activity Reports, Fee Payment procedures, Time table and Academic Calendar, Students’ Inquiries and tutorials which will help the institution to work out and achieve their management goals.
The programme was conducted over Zoom and livestreamed on the college YouTube channel. Apart from a good number of students joining the YouTube livestream, around 740 participants including students and teachers attended the training on Zoom.
Interaction followed between participants and the RP for clarifications on a number of points. The program ended with a vote of thanks by the host.
